Kevin Devitt

Kevin Devitt has a strong background in information technology and leadership roles. Kevin is currently the Vice President of Information Systems at Rappahannock Goodwill Industries, a remote position they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bernhardt Furniture Co from 2021 to 2022 as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, they established a technology roadmap, reorganized the IT department, and analyzed systems and processes.

From 2009 to 2021, Devitt served as the Vice President of Information Technology at YMCA of Greater Charlotte, where they successfully built a team of 40 and implemented modern technologies that contributed to organizational growth and cost savings.

Before that, Devitt was the Chief Information Officer at Sarasota Family YMCA from 2004 to 2009. During their tenure, they developed a comprehensive technology roadmap, transformed the under-performing IT organization, and served as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for a state-wide child welfare system implementation.

Earlier in their career, Devitt worked as the Network Services Manager at FCCI Insurance Group from 2000 to 2004 and as the Chief Information Officer at DTSR Micro, Inc. from 1992 to 2000. Kevin began their career as a Financial Systems Analyst/Developer at Methodist Hospitals from 1985 to 1992. Throughout their career, Devitt has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of implementing successful technology strategies.

Kevin Devitt attended ITT and completed a degree in Electrical Engineer Technology, specifically an ASEET, however, no specific start or end years were provided for this education.
