Terri Swetnam

Terri Swetnam PhD serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Rappahannock Goodwill Industries since March 2025, overseeing all fiscal responsibilities and ensuring compliance with GAAP. With a robust background in nonprofit management, Terri has been an Executive Advisor and Coach for Caesura NFP since July 2016, providing strategic guidance in a challenging financial landscape. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer for both the U.S.-Japan Council and the National Defense Industrial Association, Terri implemented operational strategies and served as a key advisor to leadership. An accomplished academic, Terri taught courses in Organizational Behavior and Accounting at Northern Virginia Community College for two decades. Holding a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, a Master's in Accounting from George Mason University, and a Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, Terri's extensive experience spans roles in financial management, auditing, and organizational effectiveness.
