Shelly Wright

Shelly Wright is an experienced crime analyst currently serving in the Gang Unit at Rappahannock Regional Jail since July 2021. In addition to this role, Shelly is a general instructor and certified gang specialist. Since June 2017, Shelly has been an instructor with Crisis Intervention Training, focusing on techniques to assist individuals in mental crisis, and has trained law enforcement in recognizing and addressing crisis situations. Prior experience includes roles at Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities encompassed community instruction, inmate records management, and criminal investigations from February 2015 to August 2024. Previously, Shelly worked as an emergency medical technician at Lifecare Medical Transports. Educational qualifications include various certifications related to gang investigation, open source intelligence analysis, and criminal intelligence systems.
