Brock Shireman

Brock Shireman has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Brock is currently the Vice President and Head of Chemistry at Rapport Therapeutics since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as the Senior Scientific Director from June 2019 to March 2023. Before that, they held the positions of Scientific Director and Senior Principal Scientist at Janssen Inc. from October 2017 to June 2019 and November 2014 to October 2017, respectively. Brock'scareer at Johnson & Johnson, P.R.D. includes roles such as Principal Scientist from March 2011 to November 2014, Senior Scientist from September 2007 to March 2011, and Scientist from May 2003 to September 2007.

Brock Shireman's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University from 1989 to 1993. Brock then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at the same institution from 1993 to 1996. Following that, Shireman attended the University of Notre Dame from 1996 to 2001, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry. Lastly, they attended Stanford University from 2001 to 2003 for a Postdoctoral fellowship in Chemistry.
