Denise de Almeida Nagata

Denise Nagata is a Senior Scientist in Biomarkers at RAPT Therapeutics. Denise has a strong background in investigative toxicology, cancer immunotherapy, and immunology. Prior to their current role, Denise worked at IGM Biosciences and Genentech in various scientific positions. Denise has also held post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan, focusing on epigenetics of T cells and autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis. With a background in veterinary medicine, Denise started as a Veterinarian Practitioner specializing in ophthalmology before pursuing advanced degrees in Veterinary Surgery and Immunology.
