Mike Chan

Mike Chan is an experienced professional in program management and drug development, currently serving as Director of Program Management at RAPT Therapeutics since April 2023. Previously, during 20 years at Genentech, Mike held various leadership roles, including Director of Early Clinical Development Business Operations, where Mike led project management and process improvements for phase I and II drug development. Other significant positions included Senior Manager and Manager roles in Drug Substance and Drug Product Manufacturing Science and Technology, where Mike managed teams, drove initiatives for tech transfers, and improved operational processes. Mike began their career at General Mills as a Project Engineer, overseeing capital projects in production plants. Mike holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
