David Gorenstein

David Gorenstein is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and biomedical engineering fields. Currently serving as President of AptaMed, Inc. since July 2018, David also founded and continues to consult for AM Biotechnologies, LLC, where prior roles included Chief Scientific Officer and Board Member. David held several prestigious positions at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2009 to 2016, including Associate Dean for Research and Deputy Director of the Institute of Molecular Medicine. Additionally, David served as Chairman of the Department of Nanomedicine and Biomedical Engineering until retirement in 2016. David Gorenstein holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
