Ahsan Mir

Ahsan Mir has extensive experience in information security operations and engineering, holding various roles in government, education, and corporate sectors. Ahsan worked for Rapticore, Inc as CEO and Co-Founder from 2019 to present and also served as a Venture Advisor for YL Ventures and a Bay Area CSO Council Member. Ahsan joined Autodesk in 2010 as a Chief Information Security Officer and led security strategy and operations until 2018. Prior to that, they worked for KPMG, US Department of State, British Council, and Higher Education institutes in different security and IT management roles.

Ahsan Mir holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from North West Frontier Province University of Engineering and Technology, which they obtained between 1995 and 1999. In 2002, they attended the University of Cambridge and studied Computer Science for a year. Ahsan then pursued their Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance at the University of San Francisco between 2006 and 2008. Ahsan also has additional certifications in CISSP and CISA.
