Marcelle Wood

Marcelle Wood has a diverse work experience spanning almost 20 years. Marcelle began their career in 2002 as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Onyx Environmental Services. In 2004, they took a role as Logistics Office Controller at Schenker Logistics, where they gained significant expertise in identifying human resource problems and recommending productive solutions, particularly in staff retention. In 2005, they worked as an International Recruiter at World Vision. From 2006 to 2018, they held several roles at CEB, now Gartner, including Senior Manager of Talent Management and Recruiting Manager. In 2018, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at EMIT Technologies, Inc. In 2019, they were a Senior Vice President of Talent at Hobsons, where they represented the Human Resources & Operations team at the Executive Leadership Team table and developed and implemented the company's COVID-19 Emergency Response plan. In 2021, they joined Solera, Inc. as Vice President Human Resources and Senior Director of Talent, where they served as Lead HRBP for 3 C-level executives and was the primary point of contact for all Talent Acquisition activities. Currently, they are the Chief People Officer at Raptor Technologies, LLC.

Marcelle Wood has a BA (ed) in English and French Literature from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Marcelle also has a Fundamentals of Human Resource Management from Damelin and Human Resources Management and Services from Damelin.
