Praveenkumar Vasudevan

Praveenkumar Vasudevan is an experienced professional in robotics and automation, currently serving as Vice President of Product at Rapyuta Robotics since November 2021, where leadership focuses on the development of autonomous forklift solutions. Prior to this role, Praveenkumar held positions within Rapyuta Robotics as a Technical Program Manager and Product Manager, overseeing the program management of autonomous mobile robots and forklift solutions. Previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Researcher at Amada AI Innovation Laboratory Inc. and a Technical Project Manager at Amada Innovative Software Europe SRL, where responsibilities involved managing R&D teams and developing novel motion planning algorithms for industrial robots. With a solid background in software engineering at various subsidiaries of Amada Engineering, Praveenkumar specialized in core algorithm development for robotic manipulation and motion planning. Academic achievements include advanced degrees in Robotics and Mechatronics from Centrale Nantes and Università degli Studi di Genova, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
