Mark Hansen has extensive experience in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 1991 as a Co-Founder of QDB Solutions. In 1993, they founded, ran, and sold Kinderhook Systems, an eBusiness consultancy, to Xpedior. During their time at Xpedior, they served as Executive Vice President. In 1999, they joined The New York Times as a Consultant and in 2004, they authored a book titled SOA Using Java Web Services. In 2002, they served as a Visiting Scholar at MIT. In 2007, they founded Proxisoft and served as President. From 2011 to 2019, they were the CEO & Co-Founder of Megalytic, which was acquired by TapClicks in 2019. At TapClicks, they served as General Manager of Data Solutions and Vice President of Data Product. Since 2018, they have been the CEO of Rare Karma, a growth agency focused on Salesforce and HubSpot implementations.
Mark Hansen has completed a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 1987 and 1991. Mark also completed an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management between 1989 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed an MS in Mathematics from University of Chicago in 1986-87. Mark completed their undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Cornell University between 1982 and 1986. Mark also has certifications from Salesforce and HubSpot, including Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), and Hubspot Agency Partner Certification.
