Monica Valera

Monica Valera is the current Vice President of Lands for Life, Colombia at Rare. Monica has over fifteen years of experience in business development, marketing, and impact evaluation.

Prior to their current position, Monica served as the Director of Impact, Metrics, and Evaluation for Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership from November 2008 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing impact evaluations of the organization's programs and projects.

Before joining Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, Monica was the Business Development Manager for J.E. Austin Associates from August 2006 to October 2008. In this role, they worked on the USAID MIDAS Program, developing strategies to support small and medium enterprises and create jobs.

Monica began their career as Marketing Director for Brigard Urrutia from September 2004 to July 2006. In this role, they were responsible for the firm's marketing initiatives and campaigns.
