Michael Riedel

Michael Riedel has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Michael is currently a Senior Software Engineer at RareCyte, Inc. starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Luminex Corporation - A DiaSorin Company from 2019 to 2021, where they led a team in developing a new product using modern C++, Qt Widgets, SQLite, Python, Keras, and Tensorflow. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at MilliporeSigma, focusing on creating two new products for Flow Cytometry data. Before that, they worked at Boeing from 2004 to 2014, where they held various roles such as Embedded Software Engineer and Realtime Software Engineer. Michael contributed to the software development for the F-22 Raptor air superiority fighter and proposed a cost-saving Lean Initiative product. Michael also worked on cockpit display simulations and participated in the early adoption of Agile methodologies at Boeing. Additionally, they gained experience as a Network Engineer Intern at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004, where they developed web-based applications and improved existing Perl scripts.

Michael Riedel obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
