Ahmed Samir has over 13 years of work experience. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Raseedi App and Interim Chief Technology Officer at Flextock. In 2019, they were Head of Software Engineering at SOLERA (Electromechanical & Solar Energy Contractor). From 2017 to 2019, they held two roles at elmenus, Technical Product Manager and Engineering Manager. From 2014 to 2017, they were Founder & CEO of Retailyze. In 2015, they were a Data Architect (Consultant) at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. From 2011 to 2014, they were Lead Software Engineer at IBM Global Business Services. From 2010 to 2011, they were Voice & Messaging Services Engineer at Vodafone Egypt. From 2007 to 2010, they were Senior Software Developer at ASSET Technology Group, working on outsourced projects for Vodafone Egypt. From 2006 to 2007, they were Junior Software Developer at Kabnoury Group.

Ahmed Samir began their educational journey in 2002 when they attended Beni-Suef University, Faculty of Science and obtained a BSc in Biology & Chemistry in 2006. Ahmed then went on to attend the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Science in 2010 and a Pre MSc. in Computer Science in 2014. In 2016, Ahmed Samir obtained a IBM Certified Application Developer - Cloud Platform v1 certification from IBM.
