Varanasi Suguna Soumya

Varanasi Suguna Soumya is a Senior Manager in Research and Development at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, a position held since November 2011. Prior to this role, Varanasi worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Sesa Goa Limited and as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture. Varanasi holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Andhra University, a Master of Technology in Industrial Metallurgy from the same institution, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, expected to be completed in July 2027. Early education includes completion of intermediate studies at Sri Chaitanya Junior College and a 10th grade education at DAV Centenary Public School in India.
