Laura Boone

Laura Boone joined Rasmuson Foundation in September 2022 as office manager and in April 2023 became staff accountant.

She was born in Maryland and lived on a small sheep farm for her first 18 years. In 2003, she moved to Alaska to attend Alaska Pacific University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science. For 10 years, she was a staple at Spenard Roadhouse working as a server, front-of-house manager, and, eventually, office manager. Her duties for part of that time included accounting work. In 2022, Laura finished her master’s degree in library and information science.
