Jane Waite

Jane Waite has diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Jane is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at Raspberry Pi Foundation, where they conduct research and leads a team investigating K-12 computer science education. Their research includes topics such as machine learning, feedback in wrong answers, and culturally relevant pedagogy.

Prior to their current role, Jane completed their PhD in Computing and Education at Queen Mary University of London in 2015. Jane held various development roles at Lloyds TSB Bank, where they worked in different business units and performed roles such as Data Architect and Fraud and Money Laundering Project Manager. Jane also worked as a Systems Developer at the National Rivers Authority and St Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority. Jane started their career at Unilever, where they worked as a System Analyst and systems developer.
