Chris Mairs CBE

Chris Mairs CBE is an investor and venture partner at Entrepreneurs First, where they have contributed since 2014. They currently serve as a director at Raspberry Pi and Phoelex, and have held significant roles, including Chief Scientist and CTO at Metaswitch Networks from 2011 to 2017. Chris co-founded Metaswitch, which was later acquired by Microsoft, and has been chairman at various companies, including Undo Carbon and MAGIC PONY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. They hold a BA in Computer Science from Churchill College, University of Cambridge, earned between 1976 and 1979, and are also the author of "The Open Eyed Man," a weekly examination of AI's impact on society.
