Nathan Sparks is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in GPS tracking software at Rastrac, where skills in C# backend services have been employed since January 2018. Prior to this role, Nathan served as a postdoctoral researcher at Arizona State University from January 2016 to June 2017, developing C++ and Python software packages using Docker and creating a package manager called hdpm for the GlueX software. In earlier research positions at The Catholic University of America (September 2013 - December 2015) and Florida State University (September 2007 - August 2013), Nathan advanced the development of C++ libraries and conducted significant data analysis for the GlueX experiment and the CBELSA/TAPS experiment, respectively. Nathan holds a PhD in Experimental Nuclear Physics from Florida State University and a BS in Physics from Abilene Christian University.
