Briar Watson

Briar Watson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Briar started their career in 2001 as a Flight Attendant for Air New Zealand, where they worked until 2007. Following that, they worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at Les Mills New Zealand from 2009 to 2013.

In 2013, Briar joined NZ Police as a Communications Specialist, handling emergency calls and dispatching the appropriate police response. Briar worked in this role until 2015. During the same year, they also had a brief stint as a Business Support Recruitment Consultant at Madison Recruitment.

In 2015, Briar took on the role of Business Relationship Manager at Acquire.co.nz, where they focused on e-commerce and customer service, before transitioning to a Sales Account Manager position at ABC Photosigns.

In 2017, Briar joined Gavl as a Business Development Manager and later became a Client Manager for New Zealand, where they facilitated virtual property auctions. Briar worked at Gavl until 2019.

In 2020, Briar shifted to NOW BOOK IT as a Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for enabling restaurants to manage bookings and build customer databases. Currently, they are employed by RateMyAgent Australia, where they hold the position of New Zealand Sales Manager, demonstrating their expertise in sales and business development.

Briar Watson's education history includes two main periods of study. From 2007 to 2008, Briar attended Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Advanced Business and Equine Management. Their field of study focused on Equestrian/Equine Studies. Following this, in 2011 to 2012, Briar enrolled in the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness, where they completed a degree in Personal Training, specializing in Sports and Exercise. In addition to their academic qualifications, Briar also holds a certification in Personal Training from the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness.
