Jana Tschernig

Jana Tschernig currently serves as Head of Legal at Ratepay since July 2023 and operates as a legal consultant at janatschernig.law since October 2022. Prior experience includes a position as Syndikusrechtsanwältin/Senior Legal Counsel at Bankhaus Metzler from October 2017 to September 2022 and as a Rechtsanwältin at Clifford Chance, specializing in Capital Markets and Project & Asset Finance from October 2015 to September 2017. Jana held roles as Juristische Mitarbeiterin at Linklaters and Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in Litigation/Arbitration from March 2013 to March 2014. In addition, a visiting scholar experience took place at the University of California, Los Angeles from September 2012 to February 2013, and an earlier scholarship with Evangelisches Studienwerk e.V. from June 2007 to November 2011. Education includes a degree in Rechtswissenschaft from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Juristischer Vorbereitungsdienst at OLG Frankfurt am Main. Jana was also a team member in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot from June 2007 to March 2008.
