Tanisha Kishan

Tanisha Kishan has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Tanisha currently holds the position of Vice President, Product at RATESDOTCA Group Ltd. Prior to this, they worked at Scoop Insurance Brokers as Director of Innovation & Digital Platforms, Manager of Digital Platforms, and Team Lead for Business Process Management. In these roles, they were responsible for evaluating, designing, executing, and monitoring business processes and workflows, as well as leading project scope and planning for new projects and functionalities. Tanisha also conducted research and analysis for product development and worked with various systems such as Jira, Applied Systems, Guidewire, and SQL management/developer. Before Scoop Insurance Brokers, Tanisha worked at Desjardins, Insurance group- The Personal, as an Analyst for Quality of Information, and at State Farm as an Agency Field Specialist and Agency Training Specialist. In these positions, they created training materials, facilitated presentations, analyzed policy data, trained and assisted agents, and monitored training program performance. Prior to joining State Farm, they worked as a Licensed Insurance Agent at Desjardins, Insurance group- The Personal, where they provided clients with guidance and advice on various insurance products and risk prevention strategies.

Tanisha Kishan, CIP has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from McMaster University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. In addition, they hold a Leadership and Business Management Certificate from Mohawk College, earned in 2014-2015. Tanisha also has certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in June 2023, and as a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
