Mason Blake has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mason is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Ratio, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, Mason worked as a Startup Advisor from August 2017 onwards.

Mason served as the Marketplaces Engineering Leader at LinkedIn from September 2019 to October 2021, leading the Service Marketplace engineering team. Mason was also the CEO and later the CTO & Co-founder of UpCounsel, Inc., a legal platform that was acquired by LinkedIn. At UpCounsel, Mason facilitated the building of custom legal teams for growing companies through their extensive network of independent lawyers.
Mason has also worked as a Mentor at Tradecraft and as a Freelance Software Developer and Consultant at WallFly, LLC. Mason has experience as a Lead Software Engineer at JamBase, Inc., where they led the complete rebuild of their website. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer Team Lead at Better World Books and as a Web Developer and Project Manager at Bulldog Media Group, where they contributed to the successful launch of various websites and online applications.
Mason Blake's education history includes several notable experiences. In 2012, Mason attended AngelPad where they focused on Startup / Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, Mason pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Dakota State University. In terms of additional certifications, Mason obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) qualification from Scrum Alliance in October 2008. More recently, in October 2019, Mason acquired several certifications including "AI The LinkedIn Way: A Conversation with Deepak Agarwal," "Leading Your Team Through Change," and "Microservices Foundations" from LinkedIn.

Ratio allows businesses to leverage their recurring revenue streams to unlock new non-dilutive capital.
