Clarissa Portal de la Cruz

Clarissa Portal de la Cruz has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Clarissa started their career as a Business Unit Manager at Carl Zeiss de México in 1997, where they worked until 2003. During this time, they also served as a Supply Chain Manager, overseeing the Customer Service, Logistics, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments for the company's three business units.

In 2009, Clarissa joined seca as the Finance and Operations Manager, responsible for financial and operational aspects of the company. Clarissa then moved to Arthrex in 2010, where they worked as an Operations Manager until 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, Clarissa worked as the Finance and Administration Director at Indelpa, before joining Smith & Nephew in 2015 as the Finance Director. Clarissa held this position until 2018.

Currently, Clarissa is working at RATIONAL AG, where they initially served as the Finance & Administration Director. In July 2021, they assumed the role of Managing Director for Mexico.

Clarissa Portal de la Cruz has a B.A. in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. In 1994 to 1995, they also studied Political Science, Economics, and International Law at Dalhousie University. Later, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Tecnológico de Monterrey, completing it from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Clarissa obtained certifications in NLP from UNAM in August 2012 and as an Executive Coach from ITESM Campus Monterrey in December 2011.
