Thomas Stanka

Thomas Stanka has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Thomas started their career as a Kommunikationselektroniker at Bundeswehr Standortverwaltung Landsberg, where they worked from 1995 to 1999. Thomas then joined Schrader Electronics as a Praktikant in the Forschung und Entwicklung department in 2001. From 2002 to 2006, they worked at Müller & Sebastiani Elektronik GmbH as a Hardware Entwickler, Diplomand, and Werkstudent. In 2006, they joined RATIONAL AG, where they have held multiple roles, including Technische Kalkulation, Qualitätsmanager, Einkäufer im strategischen Einkauf, Service Manager, Service Director Global Accounts, and currently, they are the Head of Product Management Digital Service Products. Thomas'stenure at RATIONAL AG started in December 2006 and is ongoing.

Thomas Stanka's education history begins in 1995 when they attended the Federal Armed Forces in Germany/Landsberg, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering. Thomas completed this program in 1999.

In 2001, Thomas enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Munich and obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005. During the same year, they also attended the Hampstead School of Englisch and earned an Advanced English for Business Certificate.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas Stanka obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2007, they became a certified Quality Management Specialist through TÜV Süd. In 2010, they obtained an Amateur Radio License (Amaterufunkzeugnis der Klasse E) from the Bundesnetzagentur. In 2015, they completed the Service Management Compact program offered by the ISS International Business School of Service Management Hamburg. Finally, in 2019, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Ken Schwaber, the founder of Scrum.org.
