Karyn Bess

Karyn Bess has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Karyn started their career at H-E-B as a Store Operations employee in 2006 and worked their way up to become a Human Resources Sr. Assistant/Recruiter and later a Human Resources Manager. Karyn provided HR support, facilitated leadership training, and coordinated cross-divisional projects. In 2018, they joined RATP Dev USA as a Regional HR Director, overseeing the implementation of HR programs and processes for multiple locations. Karyn then transitioned to the role of Regional Human Resources Manager and subsequently served as the HR Manager for Talent Development & Acquisition.

Karyn Bess obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of the Incarnate Word. Karyn then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Services at the same university, completing their studies in 2024. In addition to their formal education, Karyn Bess obtained certifications as a DiSC Facilitator from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in December 2022, and as a Certified Practitioner from Myers-Briggs Instructor in December 2020.
