Sébastien Tillier

Sébastien Tillier has a diverse work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Sébastien started their career as an Engineer Assistant at Thales Optronique S.a, where they completed a 6-month internship focused on choosing, installing, and testing different toolkits for an Infrared camera, as well as developing a Human-Machine Interface using C++ language.

Sébastien then worked as a Software Engineer at ZODIAC Cabin Controls GmbH, where they completed a final internship and continued to work on the project afterwards. In this role, they designed an embedded Linux environment for a Freescale i. MX5 card and developed software to monitor communication between devices using CAN and RS-232/485 buses. Sébastien also worked on Ethernet communication and learned about the ARINC-825 standard.

After that, Sébastien joined Nokia as a Consulting Software Engineer, working with the optical fiber equipment team. Sébastien utilized the RobotFramework to execute validation tests. Sébastien later worked as a Consulting Software Engineer at Reynaers Aluminium, where they developed new features and a driver on a Microcontroller NXP LPC1519. Sébastien also worked on improving and adding new features in embedded C.

Sébastien's career then took him to companies like Nalys, Apside Technologies, Astek, and Thales Avionics, where they worked as a Consulting Software Engineer and gained experience in various projects and roles.

Sébastien most recently worked at EPSILON groupe ALCEN and IXXI Techside (group RATP Smart Systems). At EPSILON groupe ALCEN, they worked as an Embedded Software Consultant for a brief period. At IXXI Techside, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer, developing new embedded software for a validator and continuing the development of embedded software for a ticketing device for a Mexican client. Sébastien also served as a middleman between the French and Mexican teams for the project.
