Susanne Hilke

Susanne Hilke currently serves as the Deputy Director General at Rättsmedicinalverket since May 2019, after holding the position of Avdelningschef for Forensic Genetics and Forensic Chemistry from August 2016 to May 2019 at Polismyndigheten. Prior experience includes serving as Group Manager at the National Forensic Centre and Unit Manager for Clinical Genetics at Landstinget i Östergötland. Susanne Hilke has also engaged in academic research and teaching at Linköping University, contributing to the Institution for Clinical and Experimental Medicine from August 2008 to August 2016. A research associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Susanne Hilke was involved in post-doctoral research between December 2006 and September 2009. Previous roles include Unit Manager for Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology at Region Östergötland. Educational qualifications were completed at Linköping University, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Neurochemistry earned in 2005.
