Chavinka Sumanatilleke

Chavinka Sumanatilleke has a diverse work experience in various industries. Chavinka started their career at Teradyne as an R&D Engineer from May 1999 to June 2001. Chavinka then worked as a Quotations Engineer and Program Manager at Cycles Incorporated from January 2001 to March 2007. Chavinka then joined SMC Ltd as a Program Manager from April 2007 to January 2009. After that, they worked at Roush Life Sciences as the Director of Engineering from February 2009 to August 2012. Currently, Chavinka holds the position of Managing Director at Ravago Lanka, a private multinational company specializing in plastics, rubbers, and chemicals, since September 2012.

Chavinka Sumanatilleke earned a Certified degree in Program Management from Boston University in 2007-2008. Chavinka then obtained an MSc in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2000-2001, following a BSc in the same field from the same university in 1997-2000. Prior to their university education, they attended Royal College from 1983 to 1996, completing their high school education with a focus on Maths.
