Evelien de Keersmaecker

Evelien De keersmaecker is an accomplished data visualization professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Founder and Managing Partner of Bright Dots since September 2024, Evelien has also been a Data Visualization Consultant at Algorhythm since September 2016, focusing on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights for diverse clients. In addition, Evelien leads the Competence Center for Business Analysis and Tableau at Ravago and has held roles as a Data Analyst and Data Engineer with Crossworx, where software development projects such as Seatr.io and Winepad are undertaken. Prior experience includes team leadership in data visualization at the Departement Werk en Sociale Economie, where Evelien contributed to the migration of data platforms and the establishment of reporting systems. Evelien started the career as a BI Functional Analyst at Telenet and completed a comprehensive educational background in Applied Computer Science at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool.
