Richard Vervest is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Global Director of IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security at Ravago since September 2018. In this role, Richard leads the IT operations and cybersecurity initiatives for the Ravago Group, accomplishing significant transformations such as migrating data center hosting to managed cloud services and building a global IT team of over 140 staff. Prior to Ravago, Richard held various managerial positions, including Manager of Technical Architects at Cegeka, where leadership of a team of 24 architects was achieved, and Group Manager IT Systems at Applus+ RTD, overseeing a global IT infrastructure supporting over 4,500 end-users. Educational qualifications include a recent Masterclass in Cyber Security Architecture & Technologies from Antwerp Management School and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Datacommunications from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
