Thor van Rijk possesses extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Project Leader in Research & Development at RAVAS Mobile Weighing since July 2020. Previous roles include New Product Introduction Engineer at NTS Mechatronics B.V., Senior Development Engineer at Reser robot technology, and Development Engineer at RESER Europe B.V. Thor commenced a career as an Application Engineer at both ABB and Melexis. Thor holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences and a Technicus Middenkader WEI in the same field from High Tech Metalektro, complemented by a Havo education with a focus on Nature & Technology.
