An innovative and versatile leader, Michael has a proven record of transforming disruptive ideas into commercially scalable commodities and processes in the alternative and biomass fuel, energy, chemical, environmental, waste, biotech and nutraceutical industries. He is especially well versed in emerging Green technologies, as well as in adapting processes to meet the needs of novel applications. Michael is experienced in settings ranging from Fortune 100 companies like Babcock & Wilcox, to startups and fast-growing early stage technology companies like Solazyme and Heliae Development. Throughout Michael’s career, he has repeatedly played a key role in developing, engineering and ramping up novel new concepts from pilot plant demonstrations to full-scale commercial production.
