James Tharp

James Tharp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James is currently the President/Co-founder at Raven Technologies, LLC since September 2022. Prior to that, they had several roles at Kingfisher Systems, Inc. including Director of Business Development, Corporate Portfolio Manager, and Proposal Manager from 2018 to 2022. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives at RGC. Tharp had a long tenure at Kingfisher Systems, Inc. from 2011 to 2016 as Proposal Manager. Before that, they were a Proposal Coordinator at SOS International LLC from 2010 to 2011. James began their career as a GovWin Research Associate at Deltek from 2008 to 2009 before becoming a GovWin Analyst.

James Tharp holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from the Darla Moore School of Business, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics. James obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy from Furman University and completed high school at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. Tharp also has several additional certifications, including the APMP Foundation-Level, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, among others.
