Cody George, P.E.

Cody George, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cody is the co-founder and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at RavenVolt since December 2021. Cody played a crucial role in establishing RavenVolt's position as a provider of turnkey microgrid EPC solutions in 40 states. Their responsibilities include overseeing microgrid solutions, PV systems, battery backup systems, switchgear design, EV charging, and generator supply.

Prior to RavenVolt, Cody worked at Puretec Industrial Water as a Senior Sales Engineer from September 2018 to December 2020. During their tenure, they consulted customers on water treatment solutions and led the sales team for new business, achieving remarkable results.

Before that, Cody served as the VP of Sales, Service, and Business Development at H2O Engineering, Inc. from February 2014 to August 2018. Cody significantly increased revenue, developed sustainable month-over-month revenue, managed P&L for sales and service, and demonstrated expertise in team development, contract negotiation, client management, and budget creation.

At REC Solar, Cody held multiple roles, including Utility Projects Engineering Manager from March 2013 to January 2014 and Commercial Projects Engineering Manager from April 2008 to March 2013. Cody was responsible for managing projects worth over $100M, overseeing site selection, design, and completion of solar PV power plants. Additionally, they managed engineering personnel and customer requirements for prestigious clients such as Costco, IKEA, and Nestle Purina.

Cody started their career at Burton Snowboards as a Contract Manufacturing Engineer in January 2008. Cody made significant contributions to refining the manufacturing process and designing an optimized layout for the surfboard shaping room, resulting in improved efficiency and productivity.

Throughout their career, Cody has consistently displayed expertise in sales, project management, engineering, and business development. Their experience across multiple industries has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a strong track record of success in their field.

Cody George, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they completed between 2002 and 2008. Additionally, they hold several certifications in the field. In 2014, they completed the HAZWOPER 40 Hour Training from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. In 2011, they obtained the LEED AP BD+C certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Furthermore, Cody George has obtained multiple Electrical Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenses from various state boards, including Arizona, Arkansas, South Carolina, California, Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi. Each of these licenses was obtained between 2021 and 2021.
