Omer Moussaffi

Omer Moussaffi has a diverse work experience spanning various fields and roles. Omer is currently working as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at RAVIN.AI since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Sr. Research Engineer at pomvom from November 2018 to November 2019. Before joining pomvom, Omer worked at Shutterfly Inc. as a Sr. Research Engineer from June 2013 to November 2018. Here, they gained expertise in languages such as C, C++, and Matlab, as well as various Linux tools.

In terms of their earlier work experience, Omer worked as an Algorithm Advisor at Rosetta IP Ltd from March 2013 to May 2013. Omer was also an Algo Trader at Bullseye Central, LLC from March 2012 to February 2013. Omer's entrepreneurial experience includes being an Entrepreneur at Xyntific from December 2010 to March 2012.

During their time at Tel-Hai academic college, Omer served as a Senior developer of scientific workshops at the Youth Center from September 2009 to March 2012. Omer also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Hai College, Israel from March 2009 to March 2012. Prior to that, Omer gained algorithm development experience at Numeri from March 2007 to December 2008.

In the early stages of their career, Omer worked as a House Guide at the Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem, Israel, from 2001 to 2005.

Omer Moussaffi completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy from Herew University Math dep. from 1997 to 2005. Additionally, they pursued a BSc degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1997 and 2000. Before that, from 1993 to 1996, they studied at IASA but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Omer also holds additional certifications in R Programming, obtained from Coursera in November 2014, and in The Data Scientist's Toolbox, obtained from Coursera in November 2014. Lastly, they completed the Think Again: How to Reason and Argue course at Coursera in February 2013.
