Stas Mataev

Stas Mataev has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Stas started their career at Tadiran Telecom in 2000 and worked as a Software Engineer for a year. In 2001, they joined CTware where they served as a Group Leader, designing and developing contact centers and distributed call-center systems until 2006. Stas then moved on to RADVISION as a Software Engineer and gained extensive knowledge of C and C++ while working on VOIP platforms for high-performance telecom applications from 2007 to 2011. Stas joined Avaya in 2011 as a Software Engineer, focusing on Android infrastructure and the development of a new video endpoint. Stas utilized Android APIs, SIP signaling platform, and WebRTC to implement call processing and media negotiation. In 2015, they joined RADCOM as a Software Engineer, working on a fully cloud-based backend server architecture using platforms such as NodeJS (JavaScript), Spring (JAVA), Python, and Ansible. Stas currently works at RAVIN.AI as a Software Engineer, starting in 2019.

Stas Mataev began their education at the Polytechnic Institute from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a B.Sc. degree in Hydrotechny Engineering. Stas then pursued further studies at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1998, obtaining an MSc degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completing the Division of Continuing Education program and earning a BE degree in Computer Engineering.
