Maryanne Kolenovsky

Maryanne Kolenovsky is a partner in Rawle & Henderson LLP’s Long Island and Manhattan offices. She represents health care providers in all medical, dental and other specialty fields. After becoming licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in 1977, Maryanne worked in both nursing in various hospital positions, working her way up to management positions, including becoming the Director of Risk Management of a 300+ acute care hospital. This background makes her especially committed to assisting professionals during litigation and disciplinary hearings. She has extensive trial experience in the defense of medical, dental, nursing and chiropractic professionals. She has tried over 80 cases to verdict in venues throughout all boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, Orange and Columbia Counties. She has represented physicians, dentists and nursing professionals in disciplinary matters before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline. In addition to malpractice and disciplinary cases Maryanne has handled various types of cases for Not-For Profit corporations and property damage claims.

Maryanne earned her J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1991 and her B.A., cum laude, from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1987 and her Associates in Applied Sciences from Queensborough Community College in 1977. Maryanne was named in the top 1% of trial lawyers in the state of New York in 2012 which was based solely upon actual results in trials.
