Rawson Saunders School
Dean C. is an experienced education and development professional currently serving as the Associate Director for Development at the UTeach Science Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to this role, Dean held various positions, including Development Associate and Academic Language Therapist at Rawson Saunders School, where specialized instruction was provided to students with dyslexia. Dean has also contributed significantly to KIPP Texas Public Schools as a Grades 5-8 Music Teacher and Fine Arts Department Chair, where Dean created a comprehensive music program and implemented new courses. Earlier experiences include roles in Teach For America, UMass Amherst Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations, and The Think Alive Foundation, showcasing a solid background in education, grant writing, and fundraising. Dean holds a Master of Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Rawson Saunders is the only full-curriculum school in central Texas for children with dyslexia.
