Kristin Ayat

Kristin Ayat is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Academic Support Coordinator at Rawson Saunders School since August 2025. Previously, Kristin held multiple roles at Stephen Gaynor School, including Head Teacher from September 2018 to July 2024, and Co-Head Special Education Teacher for a brief period in early 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Classroom Head Teacher for the NYC Department of Education and various teaching positions at The Gillen Brewer School, where Kristin progressed from Student Teacher to Assistant Special Education Teacher. Kristin's background also includes roles at Tutor Time and AHRC New York City, as well as serving as an AmeriCorps Member with Jumpstart. Kristin holds a Master of Childhood Education specializing in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University.
