Ali Malhi

Ali Malhi's work experience begins in 2006 as a Financial Accountant for Brisbane City Council. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a General Accountant at Flowserve Corporation before moving on to SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company as a Senior Accountant for their UAE Joint Venture from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Ali joined Emirates Leisure Retail as a GL Accountant, where they stayed until 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Imperial as a Finance Manager, overseeing budgeting, reporting, auditing, and financial risk management.

From 2017 to 2020, Ali served as the Group Finance Manager at Roha Group Inc. Here, they managed finance, IT, and HR functions, implemented financial planning activities, and ensured compliance with tax and regulatory filings.

Ali'smost recent position is with Raxio Data Centres, where they have been the Vice President of Finance since 2020. In this role, Ali directs key functions including Finance, IT, HR, Legal, and Risk Management. Ali is responsible for optimizing the corporate governance structure and overseeing business plans, budgeting, tax structuring, and rolling forecasts. Ali also develops financial models, analyzes new business ventures, and manages the investment decision-making process.

Ali Malhi pursued higher education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance at Griffith University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing from National American University, covering the years 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Ali Malhi has earned certification as a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in August 2022 and as a CPA Australia in December 2016.
