Flavia Nannyanzi has a diverse range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. FLAVIA started their career as an intern at ATX Technology in 2013, where they gained hands-on experience in operating telecom equipment and assisting project managers with large-scale and upgrade projects. Following this, they worked as a NOC Engineer at Quintica from December 2014 to February 2018, where they acted as the primary point of contact for engineers and users during service disruptions and handled incident diagnosis and resolution. In 2018, Flavia joined Africell Uganda as a Core Network Engineer, responsible for managing day-to-day activities in the core network, including configuration and troubleshooting. FLAVIA later transitioned to the role of IN/VAS Engineer, specialized in IN/VAS systems, until September 2021. Currently, Flavia is working as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Raxio Data Centres, where they ensure smooth network operations.
Flavia Nannyazi completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Multimedia University, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Mt St Mary's College Namagunga from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their UCE and UACE in Physics, Maths, Economics, and French.
In terms of additional certifications, Flavia obtained the following: Google IT Support Certificate from Coursera in September 2022, Windows 10: Managing Admin Tasks Essential Training from LinkedIn in December 2021, Windows Server 2016: Implementing Group Policy from LinkedIn in December 2021, Data Centre Fundamentals from CNet Training in September 2021, Girl Centered Design from Philanthropy University in May 2020, Fundamentals of Project Management from Philanthropy University in February 2020, Planning for Monitoring and Evaluation from Philanthropy University in April 2019, ITIL Foundation - IT Service Management from APMG International in December 2015, MTA Networking Fundamentals from Microsoft in April 2012, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2023. Additionally, they hold the certification of Project Management Essentials Certified from Management & Strategy Institute.
