Joan Nantambi

Joan Nantambi has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joan started their career as an End User Support Specialist Intern at Huawei Technologies in 2016, where they gained valuable skills in technical support. Joan then interned at the Bank of Uganda in the business Automation department, further expanding their knowledge in the field.

In 2017, Joan joined Zimba Women as a Technology Team Lead, showcasing their leadership abilities in managing the technological aspects of the organization. Joan continued their impressive career growth by joining Infinity Computers and Communications Company Limited in 2018 as a Web Developer. Joan later transitioned into the role of Business Development Executive, demonstrating their adaptability and versatility within the company.

Most recently, Joan joined Raxio Data Centres in 2020 as a Network Operations Center Engineer, further enhancing their technical skills and expertise.

Joan Nantambi attended Uganda Christian University from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Joan later pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills in data science and technology. In 2021, they completed the Applied Data Science II: Machine Learning & Statistical Analysis course with honors at WorldQuant University. Prior to that, in September 2021, they also earned a certificate with honors in Applied Data Science I: Scientific Computing & Python from the same institution. Additionally, in March 2021, Joan acquired a certification in Data Centre Fundamentals from CNet Training.
