Mawa Samadu

Mawa Samadu has diverse work experience in various organizations. They began their career as a SAP System Administrator at the National Agricultural Research Organisation - NARO Uganda from 2013 to 2015. They then worked as an ICT Associate at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, from 2016 to 2018. Afterwards, they joined the World Food Programme as an I.T Operations member from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Mawa is employed at Raxio Data Centres, where they initially served as a Data Hall Engineer from December 2021 to March 2023, and now work as an Operational Engineer beginning January 2023.

Mawa Samadu completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the Islamic University in Uganda, where they attended from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Mawa has obtained various certifications such as Operational Excellence Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2023, CompTIA Network+ (N10-008) Cert Prep: 4 Making TCP/IP Work from LinkedIn in April 2023, Data Centre Fundamentals (DCF®) from CNet Training in January 2023. Mawa also holds a CCNA certification from Cisco, though the exact date of obtaining it is unknown. Lastly, Mawa has a Specialist Certificate in Ransomware Uncovered from ICTTF - Cyber Risk Academy, without specific dates provided.
