Elmar de Jong has extensive experience in creative direction, particularly in the eyewear industry. Elmar is currently the Global Creative Director of Ray-Ban, where they set the brand's creative direction and oversees the development of brand campaigns. Elmar has also collaborated with Meta to launch smart glasses. Prior to their current role, Elmar served as Creative Director at EssilorLuxottica, where they were responsible for the global creative direction of the Ray-Ban brand. Elmar has also held Creative Director positions at BrandBase and DVP Group, and started their career in junior marketing at Sony Music Entertainment.
Elmar de Jong began their education at Candea College from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, they attended Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Media and Entertainment Management. In 2009, they participated in a Creative Entertainment Exchange Program at Northern Arizona University, specializing in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.
