Miquel Torné Roca

Miquel Torné Roca has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Miquel is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Ray Electric Motors since July 2021.

Before that, Miquel worked at Saba for ten years, starting in July 2011 and ending in July 2021. During their time at Saba, they held the position of Corporate Financial Controller. Their role involved developing and updating the company's strategic plan and financial projections. Miquel also supervised investment projects and analyzed their profitability. Additionally, Miquel was responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget for the group.

Prior to Saba, Miquel worked as a Financial Analyst at abertis infraestructuras S.A. from June 2008 to July 2011. Their responsibilities included M&A (mergers and acquisitions) and financing. Miquel prepared business plans to evaluate the economic and financial aspects of investment projects and created investment opportunity presentations.

Miquel gained experience as an Internal Auditor at CELSA GROUP from June 2007 to June 2008. In this role, they analyzed and conducted financial audits for the group's companies and plants in Spain and Europe.

Miquel also worked as an intern at Management Solutions in 2007 and at Closure Systems International (CSI) from June to September 2006.

Miquel Torné Roca obtained a Licenciatura en Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Business Administration) and a Master en Dirección de Empresas (MDE) from Esade, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. In 2007, they pursued a Master in Science with a focus on Finance & Entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Miquel also completed a Master en Viticultura, Enologia y Marketing del Vino at the Escola de Viticultura i Enologia Mercè Rossell, though the start and end years for this degree are not specified. In 2018, they attended IESE Business School to obtain a PDD (Program for Management Development). Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, Miquel completed a Máster Universitario en Dirección Financiera y Contable (Master in Financial and Accounting Management) at UPF Barcelona School of Management.
