P. S. Sankara Raman

Sankara has over 30 years of industrial experience with maximum years of his career at Raychem RPG. Previously he worked at VIP Industries.

A long-standing member at Raychem RPG, Sankara joined the company in 1993 at Vasai Plant where he handled various functions of operations. He headed ‘Project Vijay’ for the transfer of TE manufacturing operations from Ireland & Saudi to India. From 2004 to 2006 he managed Key Account Management with OEMs. He was Project Manager for Merger & acquisition of TE Connectivity - Raychem Energy business in India and was the Business Head of Global Manufacturing Division (GMD)- Contract Manufacturing for TE Connectivity.

From April 2016 - March 2019, Sankara was Head – International Business (IBD) spearheading two segments of the business – GMD, a facility set up for manufacturing molded products for TE Connectivity Globally, and EBU (Engineering Business Unit) catering to custom-designed engineering products for overseas market.

In April 2019, Sankara took over as Head – Energy, the new BU comprising of product portfolio of the erstwhile Energy Products Division, GMD, and Energy Management Solutions.
