Mehrdad Afra

Mehrdad Afra has worked in the engineering field for over 20 years, beginning in 2000 as a Quality Engineer for Iran Polyurethane. In 2005, they moved to Renault as a Product Engineer. Mehrdad then joined Continental in 2010 as a Quality Engineer. In 2012, they joined Bombardier Transportation as a Supply Quality Engineer. In 2014, they moved to Ford Motor Company as a Product Design Engineer. Mehrdad is currently employed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at RayGen since 2022.

Mehrdad Afra obtained a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering - Fluids & Power from Bu-Ali Sina University between 1995 and 1999. Mehrdad also holds certifications obtained from LinkedIn and Applied Geometrics, Inc. in 2019 and 2013, respectively. These certifications include "Sketching for Product Design and AEC", "Learning 3D Printing", "Modeling a Bicycle Frame with SOLIDWORKS", "Rapid Prototyping for Product Design", "Fundamentals of GD&T ASME Y14.5 2009", and "QMS ISO 9001:2008 Auditor / Lead Auditor".
