Scott A. Curtis is the President of the Private Client Group at Raymond James Financial. Scott has been with Raymond James since January 2012, and in their current role, they lead a team of professionals dedicated to supporting the growth and success of 3,500+ independent financial advisors. Prior to their current role, Curtis served as the SVP, Private Client Group at Raymond James & Associates from August 2005 to December 2011.

Curtis began their career in 1987 as a Fixed Income Associate at Morgan Stanley. In 1997, they transitioned to GE Financial/Life of Virginia, where they served as the SVP, Servicing Leader until 1999. Scott then joined GE Financial Assurance as the SVP, National Sales Director, a role they held until 2003. In 2003, Curtis returned to Raymond James Financial as the President of Planning Corporation of America. In this role, they had overall P&L responsibility for Raymond James' insurance agency providing annuity, life insurance, and LTCi sales, products, and operational support for Raymond James financial advisors.

Curtis has been married for 25 years and has three daughters. In their free time, they enjoy golfing and fishing.

Scott A. Curtis has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics and English from Denison University.

They work with James E. Bunn - President, Global Equities & Investment Banking, Paul Shoukry - Chief Financial Officer, and George Catanese - Chief Risk Officer. Scott A. Curtis reports to Paul Reilly, Chairman & CEO.
