Michael Osborne

Michael Osborne has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, holding various leadership positions. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Manufacturing at RYAM since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Manufacturing and Director of Global Manufacturing at Kraton Corporation from March 2022 to April 2023 and from December 2019 to March 2022, respectively. Michael also served as the Director of Global Engineering at Kraton Corporation from October 2015 to December 2019. Before joining Kraton Corporation, they worked at Arizona Chemical as a Senior Plant Manager from February 2012 to October 2015 and as an Operations Manager from June 2011 to January 2012. Michael began their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where they served as the Director of Strategic Planning from October 2007 to June 2011.

Michael Osborne has a strong educational background in both technical and business fields. Michael holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Pulp & Paper Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has also pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. Michael completed the "Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility" certification program at UC Berkeley Executive Education in April 2019. Michael also obtained certifications in "Leading Operational Excellence" from MIT Sloan Executive Education in June 2017, "High Potential Leaders: Accelerating Your Impact" from Wharton Executive Education in April 2013, and "Leading for Organizational Impact" from the Center for Creative Leadership in January 2013.
